DONE WITH THE DAYS OF PERSONAL TRAINING...ONWARD AND UPWARD TO BOOT CAMP/KETTLEBELLS!!!!!!
During my week off from Boot Camp, I decided to use the rest of the "Personal Trainer" days that my husband bought for me at a local gym. Let me just tell you about the difference between Boot Camp/Kettlebells and "Personal Training"... I had to keep asking my Personal Trainer to push me harder, to make me do more, to change up the workout, I felt like I was dragging her along instead of having someone else motivate me, tell me what to do so I didn't have to think about it, and kick my butt in the meantime. After working with a Personal Trainer and doing Boot Camp and Kettlebells, I compare personal training to being more like sitting on the couch and eating potato chips. On the other hand, I love the Boot Camp/Kettlebell workouts!! Kelli and Heather kick my butt everytime, the workouts are different every day, and I already notice a big difference in my core muscles and my coordination not to mention the camaraderie I feel with the other "victims" in class. No more "personal trainers" in a gym for me, I'll stick with Boot Camp/Kettlebells anyday!!!

A few months ago I saw a flyer for boot camp and decided to give it a try. I am a young mother of a 4 and 1 year old and I wanted desperately to get my pre-baby body back. During the first session that I attended I experienced some events that turned my life as I knew it upside down. I fell into a deep depression and the stress in my life was spinning me out of control. There were some changes going on in my family that I was not prepared to handle and I stopped working out all together. I couldn't bring myself to do it, I was too sad, too tired. Emotionally I was a mess, not to mention the physical results of stress- fatigue, headaches, and anxiety. My doctor suggest I exercise to relieve my stress and so although I didn't think it would make a huge difference, I went back to boot camp. This time my reasons were not the same- I needed more then a flat stomach could give me- I needed ME back. This became a wellness issue for me, both mental and physical. There is no better self help then the feeling of accomplishment. I never understood how incredibly powerful the bond between physical activity and general well being. I used to be so quick to pop a pill or take my frustrations out on the people I love the most. I can clearly tell a difference in the way I feel if I am not able to make it to class for some reason. I now feel healthy, energized and happier. This is more then just a workout class, for those of you who can commit to yourself to take YOU to the next level, those willing to gift something to YOURSELF then this will change your live for the better. It's not just for people who want to LOOK better- that will come (trust me), but those who want to live better lives. Boot camp has lifted my spirits, mellowed me out, and when I get into my car at 6:30 to go home and start my day I am better equipped to be the best mother, wife, friend and person that I can be. So Kelli thank you a million times over for pushing so hard and believing in everyone in your class.

Love this! I started the 5:30 am class last month as a last chance to find time to workout with 3 kids and a crazy schedule. I have found so much more than time! My body has transformed- I lost 8 lbs, 9 inches (a little off everywhere..arms, waist, hips, you name it!) Most of all my endurance and energy level has shot through the roof! I actually feel good working out - not tired and weak. I can not tell you how good it feels to know that my transformation and increased energy has also helped fuel a love of fitness in my entire family. We all eat healthier, play more! I never had such results from any other class or personal trainer. Thank you!

I can't begin to tell you what an amazing experience this has been. I was so bored with exercising. I did it because I had to, now I do it because I want to, and I love it!! In 4 weeks, I lost 6 lbs. and 8 inches; and my increased endurance and strength surpassed any of my expectations. I look forward to the mornings I get to work out with Kelli!
She has such a subtle and positive way of pushing you to work your hardest. Thanks Kelli..you have changed my perspective on exercising as well as eating better. I haven't felt this great in years!!
